New Chiropractic &
Physical Therapy Patients
What Should I Expect?
Olympia Chiropractic & Physical Therapy is a multi-disciplinary healthcare clinic that offers a number of different services to treat and manage a patient’s condition. The first step for a patient’s visit is to sit down with the doctor and discuss his or her health history and presenting symptoms. The next step is from the doctor to perform a physical exam of the patient’s problem area, as well as surrounding joints and muscles. The doctor will then determine if additional testing is needed in the form of x-rays or additional imaging. The final step will be the doctor and the patient discussing what the potential problem is and treatment options for your condition.
Do I Need A Prescription From My Doctor?
Chiropractic physicians are primary care physicians. Typically, a patient does not need a prescription from their family / primary care doctor to seek out care from a chiropractic physician. The office manager at Olympia Chiropractic & Physical Therapy can discuss with you over the phone if you have questions regarding prescription for care.
Does My Insurance Cover Chiropractic and Physical Therapy?
Most medical insurance companies cover chiropractic and physical therapy. Olympia Chiropractic & Physical Therapy physicians are in network with most insurance plans. The office manager or representative will discuss your insurance benefits with you before any services are provided.
